Achievements

Achievements are Taro Bay's trophy shelf: a fixed set of milestones that mark the big moments of a diver's life — your first level 10, your first market trade, and one day the coveted level 99 mastery of a skill. Open the board any time via Achievements in the village menu, or from your character sheet.

Two things to know up front:

• Achievements are pure prestige. There are no rewards attached — no mon, no items, no boosts. They exist to be earned, shown off and remembered, and they never tilt the economy.
• Your past progress counts. Achievements look at what you have actually done, not at what you do from today on. If you already qualified for one before it existed, it is quietly credited to you — no fanfare, it is simply there.

The categories

• Mastery — one achievement per skill, each for reaching level 99. Eighteen long roads; see Skills & XP for how steep they get.
• Progression — level 10 in any skill, then total-level milestones across all eighteen skills (100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 1,500 — the absolute maximum is 1,782).
• Economy — your first trade and your hundredth on the player market, plus treasure marks for holding 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 mon at once. The mon marks read your current purse, not lifetime earnings — spend below the line before you hit it and you'll have to climb back.
• Guild — joining a guild, and leading one.
• Routine — claimed daily quests (1, 25, 100) and delivered daily shipments to the trader (1, 50).

Unlocks, toasts and the global chat

The moment you cross a threshold, the achievement unlocks on its own — there is nothing to claim. You'll see a small golden toast in-game, and the board marks the entry with its unlock date.

The truly big ones — every level-99 mastery, the 1,000 and 1,500 total-level milestones, and the million-mon purse — are also announced to the whole bay as a quiet system line in the global chat, the same way your guild celebrates milestone level-ups in the guild chat. Everything smaller stays your own quiet victory.

Progress at a glance

Locked achievements show how far along you are — a progress bar toward the level, count or balance the entry asks for. Other players can see how many achievements you have earned on your profile, so the shelf is worth keeping polished.
