Game Rules

Taro Bay is a shared bay. These rules keep it fair and friendly for everyone — in the game, in chat, and around your account.

1. Your account

One account per person. Sharing, selling, or passing on your account is not allowed.

Your account and all virtual content in it — mon, items, progress — remain the property of the operator. What you get is a revocable right to use them for playing Taro Bay. Virtual goods have no monetary value, and there is no entitlement to a payout.

2. Respect in chat

No insults, abuse, hate speech, harassment, or discrimination. No NSFW or illegal content. No spam, no advertising, and no posting other people's personal data.

Chat languages are English and German. All of this applies to character names too.

3. Fair play

No bots, scripts, macros, or any other kind of automation.

Don't exploit bugs. If you find one, please report it — via the in-game report button, in #feedback-and-bugs on our Discord, or at hello@tarobay.io.

No real-money trading: accounts, mon, and items are never bought or sold for real money. No market manipulation — especially not through second accounts.

4. Enforcement

Violations can lead, at our discretion, to a warning, a chat mute, a temporary or permanent account ban, or deletion of the account — in severe cases without prior warning.

Banned accounts have no claim to virtual goods or to any replacement for them.

5. Open beta

Taro Bay is in development. Balance changes, new features, and downtimes are part of that — and in exceptional cases, resets or wipes are possible. There is no entitlement to availability or to the continued existence of any particular content.

6. Changes to these rules

We may update these rules, for example when new features arrive. The current version always lives on this page; we announce significant changes in the game or on Discord.
